On my list of recommended novels for my seniors is Kafka’s The Metamorphosis. I had hoped to introduce my students to this author (how oh how did I miss out ???), and you can imagine my excitement to see it listed. (OK, so some of you can’t. Think of something equivalent to your field and situation and pretend.) In my search for lesson plans regarding this immortal story, I came across this quiz that—finally!—answers that long standing question: Which character from Kafka’s The Metamorphosis are you?

In addition to your findings, any ideas any of you fine folks have on teaching this big idea of a tale, including any literary terms and examples of Kafkaesque, would be welcome.

Enjoy!
