Our girl on her special day.
“I know when I am baptized my wrongs are washed away,
and I can be forgiven and improve myself each day.
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain.
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.”
—When I Am Baptized, Children’s Songbook
“And now as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;
“Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—
“[Be] baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you.” —Mosiah 18:8–10
We are truly blessed to have such a sweet child of God in our home. The Lord understands that when children reach the age of accountability, they are well capable of making decisions affecting their eternity. Our daughter knew what she was doing and was happy with her decision. We are thankful for her strong, righteous example.

Thank you for letting me be a part of this important day in your “Sweetie’s” life. I am always humbled to see the innocence and understanding that these children show on this special day of their lives. The talks were very good and I always come away feeling that I have learned new and rewarding things from the experience. Happy Day!

This is a beautiful girl who is inspiring to be around. She made these covenants with solemnity and honesty. Don’t you feel privileged to be her guide? It is a sobering responsibility but so rewarding. Treasure the times they pass too quickly.

I loved being there to share in the occasion. Sandra is a good influence on my son and the baptism made quite an impression on him (although I’m glad we have a number of years before he’ll be old enough…he was wary of the whole immersion bit.)

It was a very special day for an extremely special little lady! Miss Sandra is wise beyond her mortal years, she is an “old soul”. She amazes me in so many ways and I always learn something valuable from her. I enjoy spending time with Sandra for many reasons, one of which is that she always inspires me to be a better person and to reach for higher goals.
I love this “hunny bunny” very much!
